Introduction

This API provides services for automated assessment of English text. It enables the submission of text for assessment and the retrieval of assessment results.

The API uses a REST style of communication. All communication is via HTTPS using appropriate HTTP verbs and URIs. Responses use standard HTTP status codes (200, 401, etc.) and data is returned in JSON format.

A completely separate staging system is available which can be used for developing and testing integration with the API. This doesn't make the same uptime guarantees as the production API system, but any occasional downtime is generally limited to a couple of minutes.
